You will play a starring role creating, planning and executing engaging and irresistible content across TikTok (to be launched!), Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and emerging platforms.

You will work closely with brand, digital and operations to develop the annual strategy and monthly schedule, with an aim to increasing brand and product awareness, drive consumers to stores (off and online), generate sales and growing our community.

In addition to storytelling, you will be our community voice, engaging with fans across all social platforms and turning them into friends.

Based in Moore Park’s exciting Entertainment Quarter, our team is a hands-on and autonomous group of professionals who get the job done and have fun whilst doing it. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Let’s slice the key accountabilities up:

  • Take ownership of social media from strategy and planning to scheduling and posting
  • Manage creative direction and briefing requirements for photography and video shoots across, including detailed briefs, timelines, ensuring clear communication across the relevant teams for shoot days
  • Be able to supplement planned shoots by creating and editing your own still and video content. Photography, videography and graphic design skills are a MUST
  • Ensure content is developed to support all priority social channels and formats (feed, stories, reels, IGTV etc.)
  • Ensure content educates, is rich in storytelling, and supports key business objectives
  • Own social copywriting, producing engaging captions and other written content across social media, website, online listings etc
  • Manage community engagement across owned social channels
  • Actively work towards growing social media presence and engagement
  • Assist with EDM creation and other digital content publishing
  • Implement reporting across content, audience, social listening tools and competitors, and strategically update plans based on key learnings

What will make you a star:

  • 4+ years’ experience in social media management, brand marketing or similar
  • Track record of building brands and delivering on business objectives through digital/social planning and content development
  • Have a passion for all things social and are at the cutting edge of social media trends and best practices
  • Possess an analytical approach to strategy and experience with analytics tools.
  • Can create engaging video, graphic, photo and written content, from concept to delivery
  • Are a strong, fun storyteller with a passion for the product (you’ll love cakes!)
  • Can combine creativity, practical nous and marketing prowess to turn ideas into actions and question marks into opportunities
  • Have a keen eye for design and zero tolerance for grammatical faux pas

Your duties will include:

  • Managing the Conference and Events budget, and controlling expenses by working with other department heads regarding food, beverage, and labour costs whilst balanced to correctly reflect our Novotel brand reputation and guest expectation.
  • Identify creative and unique opportunities for banqueting experiences.
  • Train and developing colleagues who are people passionate.
  • and awareness of competitor offerings ensuring ours is at the forefront.
  • Establishing and achieving quality and guest satisfaction goals, leading by example.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Marketing team of Pernod Ricard Pacific Travel Retail; specifically across customers including Duty Free Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will work closely with both the Marketing Manager & Brand Activation Manager to help set the strategic direction across our Spirits & Wine portfolio.
You will be customer facing & work collaboratively with our global marketing teams, sales, brand consultants & agencies to bring to life both in-store and digital activations which drive engagement, education & conversion for our end consumers.
This role will also have the opportunity to travel inter-state & overseas; ideally we are looking for someone who has an eye for detail, a can-do attitude & is passionate about building our brands.

  • Be accountable for the timely execution of a wide range of marketing including digital & in-store activations
